Hi Cait - this short piece - described by some as a vent - needs a follow-up. In the meantime I am not suggesting we do not 'improve' though what 'better' means could really do with some digging into.

Also in terms of relationships it's not just with people (and though they are the same people as 10 years ago I bet the way you relate has changed), what about with places, or with forces (of which money is the most commonly recognised non-human force in Western society).

We are probably as much in agreement a we are in diasgreement, I'm just verbally clumsy. Change, yes! evolve Yes, it is the unquestioned cultural placement of an (isolated) self a me (or a ME) that I am ranting at.
