I have really learned to dislike the word woke. Mostly because of the way it is used in a sneering way that is often used to dismiss the sane desire of a group of people to adress social wrongs.

It means I get very suspicious of people who use it. In your case I suspect you are using it deliberately to attract attention. I realise it can be lonely out on the ice floes (and let's not start on those racist leopard seals).

I do hope that some readers will not simply get angry and outraged by your perceived attacks, but use your work and comments as a training ground that will help them make better arguments that actually bring people to gether to solve issues rather than shout at each other.

Truth is Penguin, in the way the term was originally meant I suspect you are actually woke. And that, in my opinion is a good thing.
