I was going to leave a snobby comment about 'most people food not really being for people'... what you say about grain free and 'wild ancestors' applies to the paleo-diet hard heads too. It's a decent rule of thumb, but that's it.

None of our animals ever beg for food. That's because 5 of them are snakes and they are not interested in what I eat. Apart from the eggs sometimes.

The 6th is a dog, and she never begs because we never feed her our food either. Mother in laws have been warned!
