Intolerance is a broad church!

As to the myths, they may have been written down in the Bronze Age, but many of them are far older. We also need to be a little careful with the term magical thinking.

Our ancestors lived in complex, dynamic environments with little cushioning via material technology. Much of what we now dismiss as ‘primitive’ ritual includes highly sophisticated knowledge management methods vital for the transmission of knowledge across generations.
