I am curious about lobbying. Much of the disinformation regarding climate change is uses the narrative ‘it’s a conspiracy driven by corrupt scientists/China/communists/liberal/freedom haters’ etc

The moment you pour Bezos money into lobbying you give the deniers a fulcrum they can lay their lies on. Or is it that I’m used to the other side where I can point to the finances of vocal deniers?

It is not to say that lobbying would not be valuable, just that there may be downsides and backlashes.
