Thanks for the article. The passage about “you must forgive for God to forgive you” jumped out at me. It is abusive because anyone’s relationship with God is internal, personal and the terms of it are not a stick to beat someone with. Yes, to find a deeper peace forgiveness is important, but that is not a process that can be forced, even if it can be cultivated.
