We live in a world where violence is outsourced. Some people get to live comfortable (vegan?) lives, others see horror everyday.

I'm a martial arts teacher, beyond my hero fantasies and well aware how shallow my exposure to violence has been, thankfully.

Take away a lot of the bullshit around martial arts and one value it has is to distribute violence more evenly.

I'd rather the whole population felt capable of slapping each other than a small concentration of people with AR15s, bombs, missiles and drones.
